The Exploring Together team also offers the following:
Bullyproofing your
child - an information/workshop for parents of primary or preschool aged
children.
This workshop looks at the issue of children being bullied and what parents
can do about this. It begins with a look at understanding bullying behaviour
and how children get caught up in this as either the victim or the bully.
The other areas covered are things parents can do to try to prevent their
child being bullied as well as steps to take if parents think their child
has been or is being bullied.
Sibling Rivalry
- an information/workshop for parents of primary or preschool aged children.
In families, it's pretty normal to have conflict between kids. In some families
this happens every now and then, while for others it seems to happen every
time the kids breathe. The ongoing fighting or niggling, which goes on between
siblings, affects everyone in the house.
This workshop looks at strategies and skills parents can use to improve the
relationships between the kids in their family. It is for parents who would
like their family life to be more peaceful.
